hey how are you, i havent written here in a while. last time was after that Drum COrps show. That was sure fun. drumline is going well. its so much fun and the guys are doing great. well school isn't really too bad yet. my teachers are cool and dont give much homework but i still learn alot. and i have Art (3-D Design) class with MY SENIOR BUDDIES. |

SUNDAY JUNE 23RD I GOT MY BRAINS BLOWN OUT AT MY FIRST DRUM CORPS SHOW!!!
wow, drum corps is the coolest thing i have ever been to. I mean i have been watching videos and listening to CD for a long time and that is way cool, but i had never seen corps live. wow. i saw SCV, BD, Blue Knights, Mandrins, Pacific Crest, and Esperanza to name a few. wow! when the Div II esperanza went on and played i was like "oh man, that is crazy". from there it only got better. and in the lot was crazy. it was my first drum corps "In the Lot" experience. wow, i never knew how GOOD those guys are. i always knew that they were good, but there is something extra amazing when you watch them in real life. the guys who really blew me away were Santa Clara Vanguard and Blue Devils drumlines. It was INSANE!!!!!! wow. i want to be in those lines so bad but i know that i have to work my butt of every single day if i want a chance at it. but how cool would that be. i'd give anything to be in it. and for the time being, i will pretend that marching band is my corps and i will try to be as focused and hardcore as i can.
anyways, that was an awesome experience. i went with the snareline --> duff, me, and kirby. it was good times. hopefully some other ppl can go see corps with us next time!!
well well. that is all. summer is great and its just good times : ) |

wow, fun weekend. im really tired right now. i was gonna study all day, but in just relaxed and did it a little at a time. well i must tell of my awsome weekend!...
friday night was good. after school the jazz combo came over and we practiced for a while. we got pizza yum yum!! Tony borrowed a nice Rhodes piano. its beautiful. Then we played at the small ensemble concert. its was fun but not many people were there : (
then saturday i slept in. i gave Brady a drum lesson (good job Brady) and he brought over his A Custom 16". what a beauty. then the guys came over and we packed up for the show at Kelly's coffee at Birch. We played from 5-6 PM. Werent too many people when we started but man, but 5:30 it was packed. it was so awsome. all our friends came. yay. and the set looked sweet with my drums and all the amps up there and the instruments. it was a grand old time. i want to do this kinda of stuff so much more. i love just playing my drums : ) (just like in drumline).
well, thanks to everyone who came. without you all the show wouldnt have been so fun and memorable. we (the band) will tell u all when the next show is.
today was church. that was fun. i played drums. good times. well school is winding down. its good but bad. that means finals and last tests that make or break the grades. hmm.
summer will be very fun. and next year too. go Seniors!! wow thats old.

i really hope the drumline rally works out tomorrow. its kinda last minute and i tried to get everyone the info. its should be fun. go drumline. we are gonna kick bass next year.
hmm...this weekend im studying AP US. i better pass the test. if not ill be bummed. ahh, hard stuff.
im gonna go now and get sleep. |

Championship-ness! I'm liking how we did really well for our first winter drumline season. We got a 76.4!! 3rd place and Caption Award for High Bass line. Yay. Cypress did good too and we beat them by a point. it was awsome. our trophy is so big and its not made of cheap plastic! yeea! im kinda bored now because there is now practice and nothing to do now. hopefully we will start up for next year's show concepts soon so we can get started on that. |

Man, it is raining madness right now. geez. i hope it doesn't keep raining today. its april, come on. it probably won't snow enough to allow more snowboarding this year. i can't go anyways cuz i dont want to break my arm again. j/k. but anyways. we have now school on friday!!! i just found out, exciting. 4 day week....sweet. hmmm, spring break was good. im gonna go and draw some perty pictures on my comp. my neck hurts. uggh. later |

yes, my last days of spring break were mighty fine. i had good times with my buddies, or some of them. some of my friends were gone on trips , but those who were around i got to be with and it was lots o fun. yay. i guess im ready for school because i know there's nothing i can do to stop it from coming.
i haven't written in a while because i have been having fun! i guess that is really a good thing, but now im going back to school mode.
guess what, the jazz combo (my band) is in the process of schedualing a show so i will update this when the date and time is confirmed. Hope to see you all there : )

hey-- im at chris's house right now. he's my friend from jr high and its good stuff hangin out again. we called up this other guy we haven't seen in a while and went to McDonalds. it was funny. yup, we just kinda drove around for a little bit not doin too much. we are gonna go watch anger management, which should be funny. now, we are trying to put together black lights to go up in his room. for chris, its a school night and im on spring break; Im gonna take him to school tomorrow and its going to be funny. haha. well im gonna go now and do fun stuff. yay for spring break. later you guys. beach tomorrow!!! bye |

Sunday afternoon is nice. I went to church this morning and that was fun. then i got some Del Taco and went home. Saw it was so sunny outside that i should do somethin, so i went out and put my snare on my stand and just drummed for like 45 minutes i think. It was fun. Yesterday i ahd SATs, ehh, it was okay. Its really important though, i need to study more for that. Then was drumline, we got a 64.9, yeahhh. It was good stuff. We just keep improving and moving up (2nd place!). Thats the direction we want to go! Well, i want to go do somthing, its spring break peoples, lets go. lets be busy hanging out while we can. haha. alright im gonna la y around like a couch potato till i find somwhere to go... |

one more day until spring break. woohoo. im excited. all i have today is a math test (1 period) and a ap us test (2 period). ugghh. after that its the rally and free periods for the rest of the day!! im excited. the break will be good stuff, im tired of workin so hard. and for drumline tomorrow, we need rides!!! ahh, at least one more ride you guys. lets do it! the show is looking great to everyone, its so ... exciting. haha. well thats all, more after school is out. bye!! |

Ahh. april the fools , the worst and funniest day. if u aren't always remembering what day it is , you can get punked (tricked...) but yea. we prank called our teachers and left funny messages on their answering machines, it was hilarious. ahh, and then we played a joke on greg at practice and didn't play the show when he counted us off, instead we played beta boogie. it was kinda funny, but he's all, " you guys gotta do better than that!". i was glad he didn't get pissed off. he so funny. but practice was way good today!! we put in tons of visuals and junk to spice up the show. yay. then tonight my friend pulled a pranked on me and i totally freaked out when i got home today, it was funny. anyways, tomorrow is a late start, yup! fun stuff. it feels good. spring break is almost here. wo0t wo0t. oh yea, im still workin on that song, its evolving, probably into nothing when im done...j/k. but yea, i think its getting better. wow this is a long entry. i gotta go start my homework. byeee |

Yesterday was El Dorado's Sadies dance. it was 50's theme and it was pretty fun! my date and i went in sponge bob shirts wristbands and sholaces with all star converses. it was fun. i made new friends too, cuz i went with my dates friends and they were really fun!! so it was good overall.
today is sucha nice day too. i just got home from church, which went great! well i gtg eat. thats always fun. |
